Redline is a design editor that runs in the browser: start from a template or a blank page, add text, pictures and icons, then export PNG, JPG, PDF, SVG or a web page. It adds AI layouts, AI pictures in six style kits, a website builder and a separate video editor. It runs today at createansvg.com on one Cloudflare Worker. It has no recorded users or revenue.

The app

Redline is a design editor in the style of Adobe Express or Canva, built as one page. The home screen offers six ways to start. The left rail holds Search, Add content, Text, Upload, Templates, Generate and Edit. The canvas sits in the middle, with layers, alignment, grouping, locking, cropping and 80 steps of undo.

Stock comes from Pixabay (photos, vectors, illustrations) and Iconify (200,000+ open-licence icons). Anything you place is saved to the library. Eleven photo looks, such as film, noir and teal-orange, sit under Adjust. A Website mode builds a page from sections and publishes it at createansvg.com/s/<name>.

A separate video editor opens at /video/. It takes a clip or an image, or records from the camera, and offers a timeline with Edit, Audio, Text, Effects, Stickers and Overlay.

The AI features

Design it for me: describe the thing (what, when, where, who) and the app lays it out as editable layers in 10 to 15 seconds. Pictures in the layout are drawn by Cloudflare Workers AI, icons come from Iconify.

Generate a picture: describe it, pick a style kit, press Make 4. Six style kits ship with it: Conceptual Sketch, House Party, Art Deco, Graffiti, Field Guide Plate and Poster Pals. Each is an art prompt plus a font pair and a palette.

On the live site the AI needs a sign-in and is capped per person per day. Daily caps for the whole site are 300 designs and 400 pictures.

What works today, and what does not

The editor, templates, style kits, stock search, export, the website builder and the video editor all open and run on createansvg.com. Designs save in the browser only: there are no accounts, cloud projects or version history. The AI and Publish need a sign-in through Omxus (auth.omxus.com), which you would replace with your own sign-in.

The README calls the project in development. Redline has no recorded users and no revenue, and we claim none. docs/ADOBE-PARITY.md lists, feature by feature, what Adobe Express does that Redline does not yet.

The opportunity

A working editor, a template system and an AI pipeline are months of work. A buyer can launch a design tool for a niche (event flyers, quote cards, small-business social posts), swap the branding and the templates, and start with distribution instead of code.
