Escrow and payment
Payment that keeps both sides safe.
Today a buyer pays by card and we transfer the asset by hand. For larger deals we can arrange Escrow.com, an independent escrow company, on request.

How it works today
Four steps, in order
- 1
Buyer pays
Buy it now opens Stripe Checkout. The buyer pays the listed price by card.
- 2
Payment clears
Stripe confirms. Market One holds the sale and tells the seller.
- 3
We transfer by hand
We move the domain or asset to the buyer, usually within one business day, and tell both sides each step.
- 4
Buyer checks
The buyer has 7 days after transfer to report a problem. A failed transfer is refunded. See the terms.
Market One is not an escrow company. Our checkout is a card payment, followed by a manual transfer. We do not hold funds in a trust account.
For larger deals
Escrow.com, arranged on request
Escrow.com is a separate, well-known escrow company. It holds the buyer's money until the buyer has the asset.
Independent holder
A third party holds the funds, not the buyer and not us.
Agreed terms
Both sides agree the terms and the inspection period before money moves.
Their fee
Escrow.com sets and charges its own fee. It is not ours to set or waive. See fees.
Escrow.com is not affiliated with Market One. We arrange the deal with them on request.
