Lesson 3 of 5 · 6 min

Write the listing

Lead with what the buyer gets. Use plain words, true numbers and a source for each.

  • A one-line tagline that names the use.
  • Facts with sources: age, traffic, revenue, links.
  • What is and is not included.
  • Honest weaknesses. "No revenue" and "traffic fell last year" build trust.

Unverified claims lose deals at due diligence. Leave out what you cannot show.

Do this: write the listing, then cut every sentence a buyer cannot check.

Put the course to work: every listing names the source of each fact.
