Lesson 2 of 5 · 7 min

Read a listing

A good listing gives each fact with its source. On Market One, a missing fact prints "None" rather than an estimate, and a badge such as "Ownership verified" names what was checked.

Look at these first

  1. Age. From the registration date, not the seller's story.
  2. Revenue and traffic. Are they marked verified, and by what?
  3. Link numbers. Which tool? DA is Moz, DR is Ahrefs, TF is Majestic. See how to read them.
  4. What is included. Domain only, or site, content and accounts.

Asking price is not sale price

A listing shows what the seller wants. Treat it as the start of a conversation. You can make an offer by email.

Do this: pick one listing and write down every fact that has no source.

Put the course to work: every listing names the source of each fact.
